Environmental Statement:
NORDPLAN is an environmentally friendly company and we have always taken our responsibility to the wider environment seriously. Our products are manufactured in our own factory in Denmark to extremely high standards.
Production at the NORDPLAN factory runs in a way that minimizes the energy and resource consumption as much as possible. Internal control is integrated into the everyday life of the factory. All waste and refuse is sent for recycling and the objectives of the company are that organisation and running of the activities of the company are always ahead of the authrorites' regulations and legislation. No wood products are used in our manufacturing process and the particle board flooring NORDPLAN often supply is made from recycled products.
NORDPLAN only use Certified Steel - this is much 'greener' than the uncertified steel used by most shelving manufacturers. All shelving is made from powder coasted galvanized steel. Galvanizing increases both longevity and resistance to rusting in a damp environment and therefore our systems last longer than others. The NORDPLAN product is designed as a long-term product - easily reconfigured, relocated, adapted and upgraded.
